Crusaders for a Pristine Animal World

Pet Environmentalist at Work!

Welcome to C4PAW which has allowed me bring together my two greatest passions – animals and the environment. And out of C4PAW I have coined the term Pet Environmentalist because that best describes what it is that we do.

C4PAW has been something I have been moving towards my entire life. I sold my last business after four incredible years of working with my clients in the Spa industry. I enjoyed helping them feel better and as the business grew so did the demands and eventually my body said no more.

When I got sick I knew it was time to take a full inventory of my life, to really clean up my act. So I educated myself, read endlessly, sought out teachers, healers and people who lived the life I wanted and needed to. My body was crying out for attention, my health was suffering because I had been too busy to give it the attention it deserved and rightfully so it broke down. I was gone from home all the time. My animals barely knew me. It was time to make some serious changes and I did and I noticed that during this time my animals seemed healthier and happier and I got to know them like I had never known them before. They helped me through one of the most difficult times in my life.

So I changed my diet, cleaned up my environment, revamped my products, eliminated all stress and began a more consistent exercise program. Guess what? It worked! Then I did it for my animals and guess what again? It worked! I started treating my animals my way using holistic and homeopathic remedies, looking into reasons why they got sick, finding out what alternatives were out there and making a better decision because I knew first hand what a difference natural products, healthy foods and a stress free environment made to me. Imagine what it could do for my pets!

I missed my business at times but having the ability to dive in and figure out what was causing Fiona to get cancer and vomit, Eli to get protein crystals, Harley to be afraid to pee outside after his surgery and to choke after he barked and Juno to have nervous diarrhea. I was determined to allow my animals live in a pesticide, chemical and stress free environment.

My intuition has kept me on track while working with them and knowing how to communicate with them, through language and energy as they continue to teach me invaluable lessons as we move forward in this wonderful life, in this amazing world that I try my best to treat with reverence, respect and awe.

With much excitement and anticipation, I thank you for allowing me into your homes and around your precious animals.  I have great respect for what you have done so far for your loved ones and for what you are about to do.

With great love and appreciation,

Our Recommendations: We are not medical professionals and therefore cannot diagnose or treat a sick animal.  Our recommendations and suggestions are easy to implement and make sense. Although they come from our own experience and those of our clients, they are merely recommendations. Before you implement our suggestions, you must be comfortable with them, of course.  Whenever possible we recommend natural foods, meat treats instead of carbohydrates, and no by-products or preservatives.  We will provide a list of recommended diets and supplements and vendor(s) upon completion of our visit/inspection.

Education: We will educate you and supply you with all the information you need in order to make any, or all, of the suggested changes in diet or lifestyle for your pet(s).  If your pet is currently under the supervision or care of you veterinarian, we highly recommend that you discuss any dietary or medical changes with your vet prior to utilizing our recommendations.

Other Recommendations: We recommend that you get fully educated about the pros and cons of the following before going ahead:

  • Microchips, flea, tick and heartworm treatments/pesticides, tap water and by-product food and treats.

Documentary Recommendations: A Dog’s Breakfast. We love our pets, but do we really know what we're feeding them? A Dog’s Breakfast takes the lid off the can to discover what’s going on inside the $16 billion pet food industry.

Visit http://www.drdomore.com/ Dr. DoMore is a series of DVD documentaries, and other media and educational services, to bring alternative and integrative modalities used in veterinary medical treatment to mainstream veterinary medical care

Who Uses us: Our clients are pet owners who are concerned with their pet(s) wellbeing, environment and extending their life through knowledge, education and compassion especially as we ourselves make changes in our own diet and environment and experience enhanced health because of them.  And even if you don’t have pets but wish to have an environmental inspection, C4PAW is happy to come to you!

Our World: Our world has become increasingly toxic but we should not worry about this too much but make every effort to stay away from toxins whenever possible and keep them away from our pets.  This is not a huge undertaking and the benefits of putting in the time and effort up-front will pay off for life.

The animal shall not be measured by man.  In a world older and more complete than ours, they move finished and complete, gifted with extension of the senses we have lost or never attained, living by voices we shall never hear.  They are not brethren; they are not underlings; they are other nations, caught with ourselves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners of the splendor and travail of the earth.  ~Henry Beston, The Outermost House, 1928
